We were booked in at 8pm for Saturday night. Despite arriving at 8pm we waited at the door for at least half an hour to be seated. Due to our booking being 14 people or over we were required to select a set menu 'necessary to ensure quality food and optimum service' according to thier website. Within half an hour of being seated we recieved drinks, the entree was served, and one person allowed to order al la carte due to special dietary requirments received her main. After waiting 45 minutes for the next course (mixed pastas) we asked our waiter how much longer it may take and were advised 15 minutes. 15 minutes later we were advised it would be 15 minutes. After almost an hour and a half the pasta arrived which were bland, plain, undercooked, and salty. After the Pasta was cleared we asked our waiter if it was possible to get some more serviettes and were advised there would be a 15 minute wait! After another 1 hour wait our final course (mixed pizzas) arrived. All up it took 3 and a half hours to receive an entree, pastas, & pizza. As it was a birthday we ordered the dessert platter again this took over 30 minutes to arrive however this was apparently not enough time to rest the table with cutlery and crockery by which to consume the dessert. When one member of our party asked to speak with the manager about the wait times he informed them that as we didn't get seated until 8.45pm she was exaggerating the wait times. Her response was that our booking was for 8pm and we were waiting at 8pm for our table. He then advised that it was usual to wait 45 minutes for a meal. Which she said would have been fine if it was 45 minutes or if we were kept informed. He then advised her to look around at how busy the resturant was. Her response was that she was pretty sure this was not thier first Saturday night trading and should they not then have more staff or fill the resaurant to less capacity. The manager then advised that as they are located in Darling Harbor they can do as they like. After asking for the bill we weren't surprised at all to fine that they had attempted to overcharges us approx. $200 for 4 extra set menus. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. The only thing that they have going for them is the location and there are plenty of quality restaurants to dine at with the same great views. Try Hurricanes Bar and Grill, Zaaffran, or James Squires Brewhouse.

went on a weekday with a business group of 12, we booked ahead. service was slow at best, food was ordinary and obviously prepard WILL in advance, location at darling harbour is always convient and a change from the city nearby, value, it was a corporate expense so who cares what the bill was, but was it worth $85 /phead, i think not. Only saving grace was thats its licensed so alcohol and a good business outcome saved this lunch / meeting. Overall 3 /10 been to better.
