Pilu is a great option for fine diners on the northern beaches. A fabulous location suits what looks like a old beach cottage. We went for dinner and were looking forward to the suckling pig which we had heard was a specialty. My wife chose it and was a fan but I was under-awed by it. Her entree of deboned quail was outstanding as was my frito mistro special (calamari and soft shell crab). My Blue Eye special main was also fantastic. The sommelier did an great job for all our wines by the glass - the list is a cracker. My tip is to let them guide you as many of the wines were Sardinian wines which if you played it safe you would never try.
