Amico (a.ˈmi.ko) in Italian means FRIEND and is also the name of our father. Rosemary is our mother and our adulation for her is shown in the hedging of our alfresco dining area. Amico Cafe offers an ideal setting for family, friends and business acquaintances to meet. Experience modern Italian cuisine showcasing the best of our local produce, boutique regional and imported wine, in a relaxed, informal environment. We are situated on King William Street, a short walk from Victoria Square opposite "Trims" and have plenty of nearby parking.

We were originally heading to The Kings a bit further down the road but passed Amico and looked at the menu and I really fancied the chicken dish on the menu, so we opted to go there instead. I was not disappointed the meal was lovely and the chicken with spring onion sauce was spot on.
What a fantastic dining experience!!! It's been a long time since I've had trouble picking something off a menu because it's all so mouth watering. Great value, particularly the Specials. Excellent wine list. The staff go out of there way to make you feel special. Say no more, It's just the vibe. I'll be back, Well done Amico!
really amazing,, loved it . the staff and the food was excellent, great menu something for everyone. you shold go and try it once, we did and we will be back there for sure. top marks amico......see you soon.
Since discovering Amico Cafe i along with a group of friends and family have become weekly regulars. The service, food and atmoshpere is second to none. Amico Cafe is very cosy and the lighting features create a relaxed atmosphere. Managing Director Albert was very reputable and makes dining at Amico a pleasure. Be sure to visit.....You will not be disappointed.
Visited this fantastic new restaurant and was extremely impressed. The meals were delicious, generous servings and service evident the staff enyoyed their passion for food and wine. It has a very cosmopolitan feel especially with its glass walls opening to the street to the sounds of passers by and the tram which is a very convenient and free way to get to the city south. We're having our staff Christmas Cocktail party on their rooftop which overlooks the city, cant wait! A hidden jem but not for much longer...
First visit to Amico and I was very impressed - great service and a great selection of tasty food. Each of our meals were lovely. I will definitely be returning.
Fabulous! Quick get in before everyone knows about it! Best place to eat, drink and relax. the staff are the best and service is above standard.
I have been to the recently renovated Amico Cafe - formally Cut Bistro on 2 seperate occasions with friends. I am very impressed with what the new owner has done with both the interior & menu. All food looked & tasted as good as it sounded on the menu - especially the Apple & Cinnamon Panna Cotta! For those who enjoy Vino - the list is not extensive but tastefull. A job well done! I highly recommend Amico Cafe.
We chose Amico Cafe' for our most recent post conference business dinner and were most impressed with the high level of service and quality of food. Albert was highly professional and took care of our every need. A small but intimate room with spectacular lighting. The swordfish special was an absolute highlight. Highly recommended for corporate functions.
