The Strand Cafe

Great food! I've been there quite a few times for the calamari and the mediteranian chicken salad. Very nice. It's a pity they aren't offering 2 for 1 anymore in the entertainment book though.

I have eaten at Strand on a handful of occasions and the food & service have always been of an impressive standard.

Last night I ordered the roasted chicken calzone and I would recommend it. The serving was large, but not at the cost of quality.

The restaurant was full, but service was still friendly & attentive. The only negative feedback was that plates were cleared from the table before I'd finished eating.

On the whole I look forward to returning — especially now that we're heading towards the warmer months of the year.
