Food: 2 Ambience: 5 Service: 4 Value: 2Bacon and Eggs were very good. Eggs fluffy and bacon quality..
But blueberry pancakes were terrible. Stiff, cold and clearly not freshly made. Very disappointing since they charge top dollar.

Food: 2 Ambience: 3 Service: 1 Value: 1My family and i had dinner at Citrus on a Saturday night a few weeks ago. Unfortunately we were all quite disappointed in the food and the service. Our waiter had very poor understanding of the menu, to the point where he could not distinguish between entree and main meals. When our meals arrived it was evident that a $44.90 eye fillet was severely overpriced, consisting of a basic steak, chips and an ice berg lettuce salad. The veal had obviously been taken before the meal being completed as it was missing both sauces and beans.
We previoulsy had great memories of Citrus but it is obvious that something has dramatically changed - for the worse.

Food: 1 Ambience: 2 Service: 3 Value: 1We went to Citrus on Saturday night for my parents anniversary. Not one of us on a table of ten could say they we happy with the meals. Firstly the menu was so incredibly pretencious & full of over-the-top descriptions that a few times I had to ask our waitress what it meant. The meals were expensive - an average of $30 for main course but not value for money. My brother ordered the Special Fish - we called it "finding Nemo" as the peice of fish was so small it was hardly a meal. My ister ordered pasta but was unhappy with the small serve as well as the bland flavours. I ordered the lamb which was very average for medium rare peice of meat and again it was small. The accompanying side was supposed to be an eggplant cannolloni but was a very ordinary tasting "tube" of mashed potatoe with a smidgen of eggplant in a thin cannolloni thing which looked like uncooked filo or dim sim wrapper also very bland in flavour. I agree with the comment about the 1/2 chicken - although we were told they were small chickens we were not impressed with how small they were for $29. One ingrediant used throughout many of the dishes was an asian green "gai lan?" or something like that. It was so bitter that I dont understand why any restaurant would put that on their menu. I expected it to be similar to bok choy but it was discusting. One more thing - with the prices as high as they are you should not be charging $3/person for your bread rolls even if it is served with "scented butter". Bread rolls should be complimentary. I have been to Cirtus for breakfast and was very happy but the last visit I was disappointed as it was not up to its usual standard. Will definately not return for dinner unless there are some serious changes in price & menu.

Food: 3 Ambience: 3 Service: 1 Value: 1Wow, service is bad, wow. This restaraunt doesnt seem to have serious footing in the thirty dollar main scene at all.
