Been here many many times. Consistently good service and the changing menu means there's always something new to try. Highly recommended.

I work close to Grimaldi's and can vouch for the coffee, cakes and pasta. The friands are to die for. J F and the team do a great job

Today i discovered something new about dinning out in Adelaide. If it looks approachable and its simple its likely it will be busy. Grimaldi is exactly that approachable, simple and busy. Its a Wednesday night and well after 8pm when we got there. We ate entree, main and dessert and were gone by 930pm. We weren't hurried, instead we were cared for and it was refreshing to see that everyone else in the venue was also feeling the love. The food is modern but simple, the menu is small and smartly written, someone knows a little about food cost and wastage and the atmosphere is cafe like. A little misleading considering the $17 entree's and $30 mains, however at the end of the meal it was good value. The Tiramisu is served at the table (i thought this was unique and memorable) and i must admit it tasted great. The wine list is small yet it offers a good selection by the glass and is extremely well priced, some wines may even be a little to under priced. It wasn't a mind blowing experience but its not often that i leave a place wondering when i will return. Grimaldi made me think about it more than once. I will certainly be back to see if its consistent and then who knows.....
