The service was good and the prices were good for the lunch time specials. However the food was poor. The calamari was ok but had too much pepper. The garlic prawns seemed raw and we were unable to eat them. The sides were tasteless.

Great food and service. Calamari to die for! Most reasonalby priced lunch menu. We have visited this restaurant 5 or 6 times since January.

The food was generally good and very generous servings. My partner's duck was a little dry and I was disappointed there were no vegetables in our meals. The sauces that accompanied our meats were very nice. The service was very good and the staff friendly. I was surprised at the rather boring sweeets display with basic things like banana cake and cheesecake on offer. As we enjoy our dessert, we went elsewhere for that but if you aren't too fussed with desserts and just want a good hearty meal, this is the place.

Despite being empty the waitress left us to find our own table, we had to work out ourselves which tables were reserved. I had teriyaki chicken which had an overpowering undiluted supermarket sauce. Barramundi was OK though Decor tacky and ambience nil Overpriced considering the poor quality of food & service

Oh gosh... it was so awful. We had a party of 8, and not one person on the table got a good meal. Now THAT is bad. Mine was the worst, and im still not even sure how they got a thai green curry so wrong. A mixture of Keens curry powder and milk...I was genuinly shocked because of the reasonable reviews I had read on this website; I expected at least a reasonable cafe-style meal. As we had suggested the group go there, it was mighty embarrassing for us. The owner / waiter was rude unfriendly and so scruffy and dirty. We didnt get asked if we would like a drink until 20 minutes after seating. Im going to say it... its actually the worst dining experience I have EVER had in south australia.

MP3 cafe attracts customers by being in the entertainment book, but don't honour their own vouchers This is the only business I have come across in a lot of dining and other activities over some years, that doesn't accept its own vouchers on "selected specials". This is written on a number of their menu boards (some specifically mention excluding entertainment book vouchers). Ever been to a pub or restaurant, or any other business that says "oh no, you can't use your voucher for those meals? It's cheating, and it's no accident.... they are at it again! (It was brought to their attention that it is against the rules by the entertainment book office in May 2014) If they chose to print on the entertainment voucher "conditions apply, not valid for selected lines" then it wouldn't be deceptive marketing, but of course they don't, because they would be kicked out of the entertainment book. It's an aggravating experience when you plan an outing, take the voucher, and drive to Brighton to find you are being cheated. Not Happy Jan! (or Bing, in this case) IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GIVE VOUCHER DISCOUNTS, GET OUT OF THE ENTERTAINMENT BOOK!
