Maybe because I'm from Central America where the food is very similar to that of Mexico I found this place somewhat dissapointing. The decor of the restaurant is very kitsch and full of stereotypes. The food is OK, but it is definately not Mexican. Although it has traces of Mexican influence the flavours (or lack of them) and the manner in which the food is presented has been westernised. For example in Mexico the hard shell tortillas do not exist. Furthermore in Mexico the food is much more spicy. I was dissapointed that in this restaurant chilli is treated like a novelty item as it is only found in the beer and the desserts. Overall, OK, but I wont be returning.

I had been looking forward to some good Mexican food for awhile, I still am! Perhaps a good place to take the kids, lots of bright colours and blad food. Staff were courteous and cheerful. The food was terrible, I even struggled to finish the margarita. Luke warm food served on red hot plates, what the? One dish we were looking forward to was Mole Poblano.....it was inedible. Montezuma's advertising states, "Leaders In Mexican Food." They should be very careful someone from the wonderful United Mexican States may just sue for false advertising.

Food: Bland, small serving of nachoes with barely any toppings. Service: Unfriendly, slow, uninformative. Ambience: Stereotypical, needed refurnishing Value: VERY OVERPRICED I ordered $9.95 nachoes and was offered sour cream and guacamole (assuming it was part of the plain meal I accepted) then at paying, I was asked to pay $20 for my meal! (I was not at any point informed.) I will not return here and do not recommend.

Very disappointed with the long wait of 50 mins to place a order. Only one person taking orders& serving& doing the drinks. Although she was doing her best and was nice an polite .. Then the meal was over cooked, hard, dry and tiny servings.. Not a very nice place to eat very unhappy with our evening out!

I was really looking forward to this meal, as I love Mexican food, but was very disappointed. To start, a friend and I shared a carafe of Margherita which was average. When it came to ordering the mains, it was worse. I was after a burrito with salad, but the waitress told me that wasn't possible, the only vegetarian burrito I could order had beans, which I dislike. I thought it was really strange that I couldn?t order a salad burrito without the beans, so I decided to get it anyway, but asked for minimal beans with lots of salad. When the meal came out, on a steaming hot plate, it was essentially a bean burrito in a bean soup.... Disgusting! The only salad it came with was lettuce and onion. I think they wouldn?t do the burrito without beans, because their products are all pre-prepared & frozen, I cannot think of any other reason. I have never had such a bad dining experience.

In the two hours i spent in this restaurant I was presented with three meals I had not ordered, before eventually receiving the one i originally asked for. In hindsight, I might as well have settled for any of the first three because they could not possibly have been worse. I thought I was ordering "leading" Mexican food, but was instead presented with some tepid dog food wrapped in toilet paper. These loathesome tubes were draped over a pile of rice which was so badly burnt that it made a comical "plink" sound when dropped on the plate. Mmmmmmm. When my ordeal was concluded, I explained the whole situation to the floor manager and was offered a 25% discount for my "next visit". I explained politely that neither myself, nor any future generations bearing my name, would be eating there again and thus received no compensation for an atrocious dining experience. This "meal" took place three years ago, and I still feel strongly enough about the experience to write this review. In all honesty, I would rather shave my scrotum with broken glass than eat here again.
