Best meal I've had in a long time!! Stepping into Patricia's is like stepping into another world it's filled the lovliest antique wood furniture along with a mammoth sized fountain smack bang in the middle. I had the garlic/soy/ginger blue swimmer crabs for entree, they were amazing! and the pork belly with pear, apple and vanilla sauce for my main, which was also delicious. There was only one waitress, but the service was very efficient and fast none the less. I'LL DEFINITELY GO BACK THERE SOON!
Have been three times and the food has been first class. Love the decore and the staff are always attentive. At last we have found a great place for our family to meet and enjoy delicious food and still feel at home. The pork belly was a favourite with the family and the Lamb was amazing. Love it!
Beautiful food and wonderful service by people that take their jobs seriously . Relaxed atmosphere with food and service that out performs all other restaurants down south. We can tell the chefs have passion for what their doing. We ordered peking duck for entree which was fabolous as well as pate with the most delicious local olives marinated the taste sensation didnt stop. With a chice of steaks we ordered the eye fillet whcih was cooked to perfection and also a atlantic salmon with a beutifal caper and raisin sauce. For dessert chocolate pudding and homemade peanut butter icecream. A taste sensation that left us wanting more. thankyou to everyone at patricias restaurant for a most enjoyable evening. We will be back!!!!!
It's like stepping back in time - into an old witches world or something. The not-so mystical fountain (that is never on) in the middle of the room is loaded with cob webs around the edge of it, the fish are half dead (not very appetising if you've ordered a seafood dish!). The food is so-so and it's very over-priced. The wait staff could also do with a bit more training in 'how to fake a smile if you didn't want to work that particular night'. I have been there a few times, because I have been invited....and couldn't refuse...but I would NEVER go there of my own accord - yuk. Go next door to Patricia's antiques, this was much more appetising than the food in the restaurant!
A friend of mine recommended that breakfast at Patricia's is fantastic on a weekend so I took my partner and our 2 children down to the restaurant. We were placed on a table that would seat 10 (only 4 of us) orders taken and then waited for 40 minutes to be served cold food. The owner of the restaurant could not manage a smile when I asked for some tomato sauce for my daughter to go with the "Kings Breakfast" which was not fit for a pauper. In fact she did not manage a smile at all and made us feel very unwelcome. My step daughters pancakes tastes like dough and were also cold. When I went to pay the bill the waitress asked me how the meals were which I responded to " to be honest a little cold". She then gave me a 20% discount voucher for next time! I have to say there won't be a next time!! Plenty of restaurants in the south that want my business and provide exceptional food and service.
Dined there Sunday 31st Oct, the roast was extremely disappointing. When it eventually arrived the meal was luke warm with the exception of the roast potato which tasted like it had been reheated in a deep fryer. The other vegetables were only warm not HOT the meat likewise, and all this covered in a thin watery tasteless gravy. The setting is lovely, the service was good, but the meal was dreadful. Can not recommend this establishment to family or friends.
this restaurant is just awful from the food to the decor.we went for a friends birthday. we started off with some oysters kilpatrick that were drowned in bbq sauce and no bacon... just horrible. i then had for mains barramundi wrapped in proscuitto with a cauliflower mash and asparagus tips. the plate was cold, therefore the food was cold. the fish was wrapped in the smallest piece of proscuitto i had ever seen and the asparagus tips were dry. almost as if they had been microwaved and left to sit for a while. the dish had no flavour what so ever. they didn't have the beers we wanted. some of the dishes on the menu that we ordered they also didn't have. the decor is of green and burgandy colors with a lot of plastic flowers around. very old fashioned looking. all in all it was a terrible dining experience and i wont be going back.
