WOW an awesome meal, great service, pleasant surroundings and the best nasi goreng in Adelaide!
Was awesome pure BAGUS ! we will be back
The food was fantastic and the staff even more so. We went with a group of 10 people and the service was fast and friendly. The Sanur Chicken, Salt and Pepper Squid and Beef Rendang were great. We all had entree, a drink each, split 6 mains and 3 bowls or rice and split 4 desserts and the bill was $28 per person. I will definitely be going back
Love going to Pondok Bali ! Great service, great food and great ambience and decor. Also very reasonably priced. Highly recommend !
The most delectable Indonesian food anywhere. The tumeric fish and Murtabak and Rendang were enak sekali. Service and atmosphere just first class. If in Adelaide a must visit every time.

The whole experience was excellent, well beyond our expectations. The staff were lovely and very attentive and the food was fantastic with generous servings. Great flavours with well balanced spicing and complimentary textures. The bill was also a very pleasant surprise. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.
After just returning from Bali & Indulging in traditional Balinese cuisine, this place comes very close to the real thing! Traditional, fresh & tasty cuisine, not too heavy. Balinese decor inside makes the experience even better. Will definitely be back soon! Great to see someone in Adelaide serving such traditional food!
I like Indonesian food as I was living there for few years. The food at Pondok Bali is as good as in Jakarta, except was not spicy hot enough. It's very authentic and the service is just like in jakarta or denpasar..RELAX and Easy going
It's an awesome restaurant. Fill with good food all the time but amount its a bit of problem. Sometimes, the dishes are a bit small. Most of the time are alright. Tasty food are always served with good customer service. Keep up the good work!!
We really enjoyed the experience, the food was good and atmosphere was even better and the service is fantastic. Definitely come back
Bali Bagus, I like your food and the service is even better.
Beautiful food! I'd never had Indonesian food before so maybe don't have anything to compare against, but my night at Pondok Bali was fantastic and I look forward to going back. We had the $34 banquet - awesome value! So much food and beautiful fresh flavours. Left VERY full but not in a bloated greasy oily way like you can be with some Asian cuisine. The tumeric fish and dry beef curry were stand outs but everything was awesome. We got a coupe of extras - fried noodles were exceptional, as was the ikan bilis - yum!!
The best thing about this restaurant was the service. I dined alone but was still well treated by the waitress, even topping up my glass of beer every time it needed it. While a little subservient I do remember this kind of service in Bali. I had beef rendang and rice and had a couple of beers to drink. I could fit no more in after this. It was just over $30. It is quite an authentic Bali experience and worth a visit.
