A word from Pride of India

The very first authentic Indian restaurant on Jetty Road in the prime beachside suburb of Glenelg in Adelaide. Established in 1999, it is still the most patronised Indian restaurant for Indian food lovers. We always endeavour to provide the best experience in food and hospitality to all our customers from local to overseas and interstate visitors.

We found the food fantastic, of great quality. The seekh kababs, fish pakoras and the mixed pakoras were just the starters to a perfect dining experience! Loved the Beef Madras and the Chicken Tikka Masala!! Best Naans and Baturas I have had in Adelaide. ooh and the Gulab Jamuns just melted in our mouths!! An elegant place to dine in or the perfect place to do a take away!

I have dined in and had take away from Pride of India on numerous occasions and have always found the food to be excellent. The beef vindaloo (very spicy) is my favourite dish however the roganjosh is also delicious. The staff are very friendly when we dine in and the take away orders are always ready on time. Being one of many Indian restaurants in the area Pride of India is always my first choice when deciding which Indian restaurant to go to.
