A word from Prince Albert Hotel

The emphasis at The Prince Albert is on prompt, polite friendly service without the attitude because our strength is hospitality. Our large group of loyal regular customers is testament to the service level, friendly atmosphere and quality beverages served. The Prince Albert Hotel prides itself on being a hotel that people of all walks of life can feel comfortable in coming back to time and time again. The reason why is simple; Consistency. The Hotel understands that its customer base is broad and is hard to identify into one demographic. The customer that comes in for traditional rissoles and a beer at the bar deserves and receives the same service that the business man in a suit wining and dining in the Bistro receives. The Bistro is warm and inviting to all customers with variation in tastes, from cimarosti west end sausages with caramelised onion gravy to crispy skin duck leg on mushroom risotto and many of the old pub favourites. The staff pride themselves on the presentation and consistency of meals. Having good product knowledge and knowing what each plate consists of is a trait that all staff possess. This ensures the level of consistency that the Hotel prides and expects of itself. A daily specials board offers what's in season and fresh on the day that the chef has sourced. The wine list is extensive and has mostly Australian content. The list has both options by the glass and by the bottle with monthly wines on the table. The bar is easily approachable and is well stocked with a wide variety of wines, bottled beers from all over the world, spirits and a wide variety of beers on tap. Contempary Australian Dining is what the Bistro is about. Knowing that you can get the same quality service and high standard food each time you visit is important.

Hidden towards the end of Wright Street, the Prince Albert Hotel has a homely feel, incredibly friendly staff & a roster of dinner specials. On Tuesdays they have $5 schnitzels & even with an extra $1 for salad & another for fries, it's unbelievably cheap. Worth checking out.

Quality steaks at basement prices. You ll find us there every Thursday tucking into a $10 T-Bone. Friendly staff, fun atmosphere. If we have Friday off work we'll often stick around for the band as well! Def Check it out.
