Love the food! The taste of Nepal has become one of my best favourite restaurants!
brilliant food , excellent service and atmosphere.. definitely recommended..
Truly fantastic food, good service, reasonably priced. Have been here several times now and will keep going back.
Lovely restaurant. I have never had Nepalese food before and I found it to be quite similar to North Indian cuisine with a few minor differences. We each got a banquet so we could try lots of different things on the menu. The prices were very decent and the food was good. Wouldn't mind going there again :)
We decided to try Nepalese food for the first time and we picked the right place. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere when you walk in. The service was prompt and maintained throughout the night. The food was delicious - I can recommend the chicken dumplings, the goat curry, chicken from the clay oven and the cheese roti. The timing between courses was good - even when we decided that we really needed another serve of the dumplings.
We are heading for nepal in April for trekking and we thought we will try something nepalese before we leave. Group of us went to Taste of Nepal on Tuesday night and absolutely loved the place. The food was amazing. It wasn't too hot or too spicy. Our waiter was nice and cheerful, she looked after us very well. We will definetly return to this place after our trip.
Great restaurant Great food and Great service. This is my favorite restaurant in adelaide. I go there everytime i am in adelaide.
I went to Taste of Nepal for my mom's 50th birthday party. I loved everything about it. We had the king banquet, which was amazing. The flavours were awesome. The food was one of the best i have ever had. I specially liked the lamb ribs, butter chicken and the goat curry. The pistachaio icecream at the end was just icing on the cake. Service was fantastic too. Staff were friendly and very attentive. Overall, one of the best dining experience i have ever had. I would definitely recommend it!
The subcontinental restaurant-in-an-old-house always has a great ambience and Taste of Nepal joins others (like the old Empress of India, Siemers at Stirling and the newbie Mustard Seed) as a lovely, cosy place to dine. I must confess being a bit of a cretin as far as knowing my Nepalese from my northern Indian, but it's all good I reckon! We had the goat curry (as a thali/mixed plate) and the lamb cutlets and both were fantastic. Taste of Nepal particularly impresses with its provision of some sort of veg (spinach, chick peas) with the meat mains, negating the need to order additional sides. The service was pleasant and, while I didn't partake this time, there is a decent and reasonably-priced wine list. Given how busy it was on the mid-week night we dined, I'd recommend booking if you are seeking a weekend table.
We've done the banquet here a few times, excellent food and really really good service. Would definitely recommend. The highlight of the banquet was the entree, a platter between two people of an assortment of entrees and about 3 different dipping sauces, really nice. Not the cheapest restaurant around though.
This is my favourite Nepalese restaurant in Adelaide, and one of the better curry places in the Eastern Suburbs. Staff are attentive and friendly. The food is better than average, and the wine list is pretty decent. Recommended.
