Enter The Lion Hotel Restaurant and you know immediately that this is no ordinary 'pub eatery'; here is a sophisticated restaurant.

First you'll notice the abundance of natural light flooding in from the stunning high glass windows fronting Jerningham Street, filtered in summer by the stately Hackberry tree outside and in winter providing a warming 'conservatory' feel.

The bold colours and angularity of the ceiling and wall panels complement the slick stainless steel and glass of the partially exposed kitchen and bar to the rear, and the leather booths in the dining area are slightly raised over the more open dining areas toward the windows. Perfect areas for talking business in private, or for those occasions when you and your partner have something special to celebrate.

At night the room changes again as subtle interior lighting complements the night lights illuminating the exterior greenery, creating a sense of welcoming calm.

Our chefs' passion for classic European finesse is coupled with South Australia's rich bounty of superior produce to create a food style that reflects the best of Adelaide in 1999, 2001, 2002 and 2006.
