An award winning, classic 'a la carte' restaurant in a heritage listed building, that was originally a cobbler's shop in 1860, in the heart of the village of Westbury, an historical village in northern Tasmania. We offer a weekly changing menu dependent on locally available produce. Ther are open fires in the winter and a sunny, paved cottage garden for pre dinner drinks, 'al fresco' diniing or for functions in the summer. A traditional roast Sunday Lunch is offered during the cooler months, always featuring roast King Island sirloin of beef and Yorkshire pudding, with other alternatives changing weekly.

Tasmania's Best Kept Secret! Shhhh! Don't tell anyone or I'll NEVER get a table there! What a real delight it is to be welcomed with a huge, genuine smile and know that things just keep getting better! The food, sourced locally, is exquisite, and generous. The service is friendly, professional and unobtrusive and the three seperate dining rooms allow me to choose an intimate dinner for two, a private dinner for ten or a party for fifty! Now that's service. Thank God it's not in Melbourne- its a real gem of a restaurant that would be booked out for months in advance in a major city, so don't tell a soul about it! We'll keep it just for ourselves - selfish I know.
