I LOVE this place. Apart from having to deal with West Hobart family types, it has such a good vine. Great music choices, and coffee is amazing. The food is also top notch. Try the benedict and the lentil burger.

Appalling service and very disappointing food Just confirmed our opinion of Lansdowne Cafe on the second attempt. Very slow service, at times abrupt and even rude. Food was very disappointing and coffees ordered before food didn't arrive until after the meal, which was itself slow. I love slow food but only when what you're served is good. Stay clear of the very bland "organic fruit and nut muesli" which is rolled oats with a smattering of sultanas and sunflower seeds but not a single nut in sight. Limited breakfast menu - only muesli, toast and eggs - nothing to get excited about. Will definitely not return.
