David's

I was eager to take family to David’s for a special occasion. We knew we had an early sitting and needed to be out by a certain time. We did not need to be told when we were seated "so you know you have to be out by 8pm". I find "welcome" a much more pleasant approach when seating customers.
We were served flat champagne and when we requested to have a fresh glass poured, we were served a top up of fresh on the flat.
The food was mostly pleasant and presentation was nice.
When coming to pay the bill the staff made an error and overcharged our card (1,000's instead of 100's) and to caused it to bounce. The waiter came and told us our card was declined. Note to David’s if you make a mistake; don’t make the customer out to be at fault. And don’t be so rude and dismissive when the customer calls to find out why there is a huge pending transaction on their card and explain how embarrassing such a thing was to them.
Shame on you David's
